Hello

Our InfoPath form is throwing an error saying that it cannot perform query on a web service method. The error states "access is denied", no other information provided (for instance, what it tried to access).

From IIS logs, we can see that it does not even try to contact the web service, so the access denied is probably on something else.

Any idea?

How are you accessing the InfoPath form? Through SharePoint? When you test your web service in visual studio do you have any problems that are similar?

Whatever way we use to access the form, we get that error. The web service is never called, so we suspect that it has something to do with the "unzipping" of the form.xsn file (not the real name, but has the xsn extension).

Btw, the web service is working fine, no access problem.

Maybe someone else has run into a similar problem.

How are you publishing the form? Is the Web service in your domain or is it Cross Site? Is the form set to Restricted?
