InfoPath Dev

I have downloaded and installed the Qdabra Hide/Show template.

 And perhaps I am not the brightest bulb in the pack but I am a bit confused.  I want to have several hide show sections on the form.  I want to be able to have them collaspe just like the example shows.

 However, I can create the first hide/show section but I am unclear if i add the control to the same section or add it to the next line in the form.  When I do that and I click on the hide/show in preview mode it works fine for the first one, but i have a large what space between them instead of the compressed show hide buttons.

 I really need to know how to do this as quickly as possible I know I am missing something but am totally lost.

Hi, it sounds like an issue with the layout of the form causing that extra space.  If you post the template to this thread I can take a look and see what the issue might be.

Sometimes the cells in InfoPath can cause this by adding extra padding in there you don't need.

Hi,

I updated your template fixing the extra spaces. It was the row height size that caused the issue. If you highlight the table, right-click and go to Table Properties > Row tab, you want to make sure that the option 'Automatically set row height' is selected.

Yeah that didnt work for me I still have the large white space showing and when i go to put more information in it just keeps getting wider and wider.  This is very frustrating.

i dont have time to recreate this again.  Everytime i go into the property and change it i preview it and it changes it back.  HELP please
