    Infopath Outlook Integration

    Hello

When an Infopath Form is sent to an Email-Adress from a Sharepoint Server (Form Services), it is specially rendered in Outlook 2010 (integrated view). That's very cool.

Now we have the wish from our user, that in an sharepoint workflow there should be sended a infopath file via email. I have found out how to send the corresponding file (xy.xml) from the document library (we do that with this addon ->  Send Email with HTTP File Attachement (http://spdactivities.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Send%20Email%20with%20HTTP%20File%20attachment&referringTitle=Home).

The Email is sent as expected with the Form.xml attached (I named it Form.xml), but the integrated Infopath Viewer in Outlook does not recognize it as Infopath Form. It just displays the Form.xml as normal attachement. Are there any "header" information necessary?

    Thanks.

What happens to the form in the email in the first scenario (when it works as expected) when the user is offline or does not have access to the SharePoint site?

IPFS (InfoPath Form Services (the browser form)) does require access to the SharePoint server to run, I think with your case the XML is expected to be opened up in InfoPath client, or if the users opens that XML file attachment does the form open in an IE browser?

keep in mind that with the file attachment they won't be able to open it in the browser unless they are online and have access to the SharePoint site.

There is no need for an online connectivity with sharepoint because I send the Infopath XML File itself. I don't think it has something to do because of the Forms Services because the Default Behaviour wether a Form is shown in the browser or in the local Infopath is a Sharepoint List setting.

Moreover I think it has something to do with the email format.
