Email submit option - Subject Line - multi-selection listbox

    Hello All,

I am fairly new to theinfo path game, however have managed to use some of the examples on this website to help me with what I am doing, so apreciate that very much.

What I am trying to achive is to submit a form, to a bunch of email recipients (easy part)

however I need to format the subject line with values from various fields.

     currently I have this formula for my subjet line; concat(field8, ": ", field46, "-", field32)

field46 is a multi-selection listbox, but if I select more than one value only the last option I ticked populates into the subject line.

Can anyone please advise how I can go about having multiple values selected populated into my subject line?

Ideally, I would like to seperate each value from field46 with a "/" but I dont want a trailing "/" on the last value I selected.

If you require any additional detail, please let me know.

     Kind Regards,

     Pete

It might be better to create a field (call it my:emailsubject) and then have different rules, each with different conditions, to set the value of the field as necessary. Then your data connection would just point to my:emailsubject instead of trying to use concat.

Thanks for the reply - As I mentioned, im still quite new to this, and not entirely sure how to acheive what you have mentioned.

I was hoping it would just be a case of copy / paste a forumla into my subject line :)

     thanks again.

    Resolved.

Used the method from this thread: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/14658/59080.aspx#59080

created a hidden field and pulled the values into my concat command from my subject line in email submit option
