Full Trust Form and IE Trusted Sites - and something odd...

Hi All -- I've built a form in InfoPath 2003, it's set to Full Trust and is signed with a valid code signing certificate. The form submits data to a SharePoint 2007 Form Library. The SharePoint URL is in IE's Trusted sites list (both the host name and the FQDN).

My form queries Active Directory so I need to have the "Access Data Across Domains" security setting enabled. All is fine so far.

Now here's the problem I'm running into. Even though I have the server name in the trusted sites list and enabled the Data Access setting for trusted sites, I get the "Security settings on this computer prevent access across domains" (or something to that wording). As a workaround, I'm can enable the Data Access settings on the Internet Zone and it all works. For obvious security reasons, I'd rather not have that setting in the Internet Zone especially since I have the server name listed as a Trusted Site with the required setting.

Does anyone know why my form would still be looking at the Internet Zone for it's security settings? I've spent a few days googling and from what I can see I have everything configured right... shrugs.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

Did you try adding this to Local Intranet zone in IE rather than Trusted Sites or Intenet zone?

What's interesting though is that full trust forms shouldn't care what zone you are in, that's kind of the point of signing a form template!

I did try the Local Intranet zone also - lo luck. But you do bring up an interesting point with the Full Trust forms. Hmm.... As a workaround, I ended up dumping the account information from AD into a SharePoint list and querying that. C
