Access SharePoint Library values in Code

     Hi,

I have a SharePoint Form library.

I have to access the values of this form library in another form(This is in another form library) to pre-fill some fields using code.

can someone help me with this?

Hi gowtham, Have you publish the field from your first form that you want to read on your second form ?

If yes you can make a secondary data connection to this library and use it on your code.

     Hi Potemkin,

     Thanks for the reply.

Yes I did publish the field but when I see that value in the library, the value is showing null.

I am sure that value is not null. Do you see any reason why it is showing null?

And the other question is how can I make a secondary data connection to the library to use it in code?

What kind of value you try to publish ?

Check on form option, on property promotion, if your field is publish.

On manage Data connection, click add, and then follow the wizard. You can use it in your code.

Hi, try to create the column in SharePoint first and make it the data type integer, then you when you promote your field, associate it with the pre-made column in SharePoint.

     I got it.

    Thank you.

Deactivating and activating to SharePoint site collection did the magic.
