Hello. My organisation has recently moved to users accessing the system via a Citrix desktop, and since then the 10 or so Infopath 2003 forms I have deployed onto our Intranet (using Sharepoint) are coming up with an "ADO Security Warning" error when accessed. This is ONLY happening for the forms that retrieve data from some Access databases in a separate location (i.e. not on Sharepoint). Clicking the OK button to the warning message eventually opens the form but I need to get rid of the error message.
After quite some time on these forums (thank you!) I have done the following:
- Made the form fully trusted using the regform.exe tool.
- Changed my IE custom security setting for "Access data sources across domains" to "Enable".
- Added our Intranet homepage to the list of Trusted sites in IE.
Now when I try to open one of these forms, I get the following error: "Infopath cannot open a new blank form. To fix this problem, contact your system administrator." and the details say the reason is "The form template is trying to access files and settings on your computer. InfoPath cannot grant access to these files and settings because the form template is not fully trusted."
Arghhh! I though the regform thing was supposed to make the form fully trusted? (I used this link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa662309(office.11).aspx). All of these forms worked fine before we moved to the Citrix desktop!
If ANYone out there knows what I'm doing wrong, please let me know - I will be eternally grateful :-)
Jo
