View a number in Sharepoint as text?

Hi,  I'm not sure how to explain this.  I have an Infopath Form which submits to a WSS 3 library.  The form contains 2 fields (option buttons) which submits as a number in Sharepoint.  They have to be numbers because I need to use them to calculate something.

The problem is that I want to see a "Text" value in Sharepoint instead of the number for use in a column.  Here's an example:

In Infopath my field "Resolution" has three options:

    Not Resolved - 1

    Resolved - 2

    WIP - 3

But in Sharepoint I would LOVE to see the actual words in the library list instead of a number because nobody will know what they mean.  Is this possible?

    Thank you!

Hi Sailor, you can add a new field, and create rules on your option button to set this new field. For example, if 2 is selected in your option button set your new field to "Resolved -2". After that you publish this new field instead of your current option field.
