Make text box non - editable

How do I make a text box on a form non - editable by a user, but still visible. I want to put a text box in containing the date (using the Now() function) but there's no reason for the user to edit it, so how do I stop them?

You can do that from Tex Box Propeties-Display. There is Read-only check box. If you select it. It is OK.

Wow that was quick! Bizarrely enough, if you are using a date picker there is no option to make it read only and if you use the Now() function in a Text Box it screws the formatting up...

    Hi Mark,
Use two conditional sections. In the first, put a date picker. In the second, create an expression box (or text field) that is bound to the same field as the date picker. You can then make the second section read only.

Sure, but date picker icon still displays.
