    How to send URL from Infopath to the browser

    All, I have searched forums, and for some reason, I cannot find a simple answer. I need to send a URL from an Infopath form to the browser. I am using VSTA (Vb.net) and need to know what function I need to do this. Thanks in advance.

     Hi, what do you mean when you say that you need to send a URL from an Infopath form to the browser. Do you want to open this url with your browser? Do you use Form server or an Infopath client?

    I am adding custom code to my submit button within infopath designer. I want to use a URL to pass a parameter to another form, but I don't know what syntax to use to open a new browser window (with a URL that I specify).

    try this

    System.Diagnostics.Process process = new System.Diagnostics.Process();

    process.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = true;

    process.StartInfo.FileName = "your custom url";

    process.Start();

     Hi, thanks qazi Anis, I just add if you try to open word dcument like that, your document will open it in read only mode, to change that replace your url by a Webdav path.
