I have built a form that uses Access as the datasource.  I recently had someone fill out the form and received an error message - Record too large when trying to submit.  Can you help?

How many fields are in your form? Can you break up the business process into multiple forms?

There are about 243 fields.  If need be, I can probably split into mulitple forms but would prefer not to.  The data gets submitted to Access and from there I mail merge various fields into 4 different documents.  I was wondering if it had something to do with limitations in Access.  I couldn't find any documentation to support that theory though.
