Once a person fills out the form they submit and the form is set up to be emailed in view two to the second person. Once person two does their part and hits submit the form is emailed in view three to person three. I just did a test to see if everything works the way I want it to and it did not. When I emailed the form to the second person they could not open the form. This is the message that popped up “The form template associated with this form cannot be found. It is not on your computer and the form does not specify a location from which to retrieve it”. Does anyone know what I have to do so that when the form gets emailed the person receiving it can open? Thanks for the help!!! Filed under: email 08-12-2010 04:35 PM In reply to Potemkine Joined on 06-21-2010 Posts 451 Re: Emailing/Opening a form Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hi, Ubaser, can you check if option "attach form template to ensure user can open the form" is checked in your submit data connection. 08-18-2010 12:13 PM In reply to ubaser Joined on 07-27-2010 Posts 8 Re: Emailing/Opening a form Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hi Potemkine, Thanks for the help. I checked what you recommened but the option to check that box is not available. The box reads "Form templates cannot be sent as e-mail attachements to domain trust forms". When I click the details it reads "The form templeate is requesting domain trust permissions. Domain trust forms will not have sufficient security permissions to open when sent as attachments to email messages". I have no idea what that means. Reply Contact OK Ubaser, you have to put "Full trust" to your form before you change you that, click on Tools, form option, security and trust, and uncheck automatically determine security level (if it check) and select full trust. 08-23-2010 10:15 AM In reply to ubaser Joined on 07-27-2010 Posts 8 Re: Emailing/Opening a form Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hi Potemkine, I updated the form with both suggestions and still no luck. When the form is emailed it still runs into an error with the follow message "InfoPath cannot open the following file: (C;\ (location of file on my drive)) InfoPath cannot open the form. To fix this problem, contact your system administratior." Any other ideas why its not working?
