InfoPath Dev

I have created an infopath document with a repeating section within a repeating section.  First section is Group 1 that holds a Day of the Week field.  (Users pick the day of the week).  Section 2 holds the Hours field and Task Detail field.

 They have the option to insert a new Day of the week (Group 1) which allows them to add more hours and task detail data (Group 2).  Or, they can continue to insert task fields (Group 2) for one Day of the week (Group 1). 

 I have my sharepoint location set to display the dat in datasheet view.  The problem arises when the data is submitted from infopath to sharepoint, it only shows the first task detail entry.  Any inserted sections after that do not show up.  My expectation is to see something like:

Day of the week                Task Detail                   Hours

Monday                             Test task                             4  

                                        Test task2                            4

 

Any ideas on how I fix this display issue?

Hello Ebonymb,

 If you go to Tools --> Form options --> property promotion  all the fields you want to publish to sharepoint that are in a repeating section, you can set them to "merge" so they all show up on sharepoint. Right now they probably are set to "First".

Yes, that worked for all my repeating fields except 1.  Task_Details.  It is displaying the "count" even though I've verified this field is set to "merge".  It's a text field and so far I've entered only one line of text to test.  Any clue of why this one field is causing me problems?

Nevermind.... I fixed it.  Not sure what was wrong with that field but I deleted it from the data source and recreated it with a new field name.  Problem solved.  :)  Thanks for your help!
