    [SOLVED] Form version control

     Hi,

I have two dozen or so forms which are, for example, Issue A.

I have revision control enabled but if I amend the 25th form such that it is Issue B then ALL the forms going back to the first now appear as Issue B.

As this forms part of our Quality Management System, revision control is vitally important and if this does not work as it should I will have to abandon it.

Maybe I'm missing something here? Am I not using InfoPath forms in the right way?

     Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Hi, when you publish issue B do you change the name of the template ? you make a document library publish or content type ?

     What I do is:

Open a form in design mode

     - on a sharepoint site

    then

     - publish

     - to a sharepoint form library

     - modify an existing form library

    --------------------------------------------------

I realise I have the option to create a new form library but I'm not sure if that is what I want to do!

I guess than you publish to a form library, you can publish to another document library, or you can publish as a content type, with that you can have your 2 forms on the same library.

I don't seem to have the option to publish as a content type.

It does look, though, that the option of having two forms in the same library is what I am looking for... I just can't see how to do it!

I found the solution (and it works!) via this link:
