Making Infopath forms conform to a particular XSD schema

I am using InfoPath 2007, but I am being asked to do functionality that is in 2010.  Namely,

"When working in the infopath designer in Infopath 2010, you select the data tab, and select “Refresh Fields”. This will bring up the “Data Source Wizard” which asks you to “enter the location of the SXML document of schema that you want to use as your data source.”  When you select the XSD, infopath will automatically create all of the fields that are in your XSD, with the correct types and namespaces, and have all of the XSD generated constraints already embedded."

I can't find similar function in 2007.  Is it there?  Do I need to upgrade to 2010 to get this feature?  My boss is reluctant to let me upgrade because she's concerned about conflicts with our Sharepoint 2007 server.  However, I do have easy access to upgrade to Infopath 2010 if it is necessary.

    Thanks!

Hi Carolyn, in 2007 I think we have this functionnality.

On the File menu, click Design a Form Template.

In the Design a Form Template dialog box, click XML or Schema, and click OK.

I think it's the same but can you confirm ?

Re: Making Infopath forms conform to a particular XSD schema

I was able to design a new template based on an XSD in 2007.  What I'm trying to do is update the template when the XSD changes without redesigning the whole form.  Is that possible?

    Thanks!
