Data Migration from Infopath form to Custom sharepoint list

    Hi,

we have an infopath Request form that contains repeating table to Capture the User input and it will be stored in a form Library.

Now we have created an application(similar to infopath form) that store data in to sharepoint list.

My problem is i need to retrieve the data from 250 forms and place it into sharepoint list.

    can anyone pls tell me...

Hi, you can make a form or an application, to parse all your infopath form it's just a xml file.

After that you can use sharepoint web service to insert all the file you parse to your sharepoint list.

SharePoint supports promoted properties. Open your form in InfoPAth Designer, go to Tools->Form Options and choose Promoted Properties. Select the values you want to appear in your list. Install Qdabra's qRules with support to map XML to SharePoint lists. Define a mapping that updates one of the existing 250 rows based on some unique ID. Open and submit one of the closed forms to test. After you have them all working, you can continue manually (which probably would take an hour), or you can use the batch tool that comes with qRules to upload lots of XML into lists.
