Not sure if this is the right forum because it kind of fits into a lot of categories. Anyway, I built a form that has multiple submit options. The form creator submits a form and depending on the responses it goes to two different approvers, each with their own view and their own rules for what happens when they hit submit, as well as a potential second approver with their own rules for submitting. The form is set to close after being submitted. Here's what's happening:
First Scenario: First approver rejects form. Selects reject, selects submit, and nothing happens. They hit submit again, and the form is submitted properly to all 3 out of 4 destinations and the dialog box confirming submit displays. They hit submit again, and the form closes.
Second Scenario: First approver approves form. Selects approve, selects submit, and nothing happens. They hit submit again, form is not submitted anywhere, no dialog boxes open, and form prompts for save before close.
Third Scenario: First approve approves form, but it needs to go to a second approver. Selects approve, selects submit, nothing happens. They hit submit again, dialog box opens confirming submit, and form is not submitted anywhere.
I'm starting to think I might have overcomplicated the submitting options and it's causing problems behind the scenes. The submit rules start, but don't execute fully. Anyone have any insight? I'd greatly appreciate any help, even it means I have to scrap this form.
