 Hi,

 I've trouble with an udcx data connection which accesses a webservice inside our environment. My browser-enabled form (and the webservice connection via udcx) works well as long as I'm inside our network. There is an alternate access mapping configured which allows our users to access our sharepoint web application (http://portal.domain.com) also via ssl (https://portal.domain.com). When trying to access the webservice via the udcx-file in an https-connection I get the following error:

  Exception     System.Net.WebException: The operation has timed out

This seems to be timeout issue, but inside our environment it works well and I'm using the same udcx-file via https.......

Anybody an idea?

Sounds like an IIS config issue. We have a guy here who could solve your problem but we'd need $50 for the time. Send me e-mail if you're interested.

I'm not sure if the webservice-call via udcx-file is server- or client-side?! If it's server-side, there should be no problem and it's probably an IIS issue.
