My boss does not want me to use buttons, but unfortunately that is the only way I've found to dynamically switch views using InfoPath’s built-in functionality. I looked on the web and I found two articles about how to use custom code to switch views using the values in a drop-down list box.http://spsfactory.blogspot.com/2006/08/switch-view-when-drop-down-list-has_13.html http://basquang.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!A21319952F68E79E!334.entry Is this the only way to do it? These articles are a bit over my head, so I'm hoping for some advice. I am using InfoPath 2007. Thanks! Reply Contact Hi everybody, Instead of switching views, you'll have to put the contents of the views in sections, and use conditional formatting to hide each section when the drop-down listbox is not set to the corresponding value.Hope this helps!Qwerty 05-05-2014 01:52 PM In reply to Jesse.McHargue Joined on 04-16-2014 Posts 2 Re: Switching views using a drop-down list box Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I had a similar thoughts about this and I feel that it works. It does allow everything to be on one page and provides the "feeling" that the user is switching views when they make a selection. Page 1 of 1 (7 items) Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
