Hi all,

Currently i have some problem.
i have a repeating table

then have 2 dropdown list

the scenario is like this

Item | Description
A     |   A
A     |   B

then i add\insert another record
my repeating table become

A | A
A | A

*both item and description is dropdown list. 1 item can have many description

the repeating table kind of refresh all my item data source. Anyway to prevent it?
I have try in preview mode it seems to work fine but once i publish to SharePoint InfoPath Form Services this all bug occur

It's impossible to say with 100% certainty without seeing the rules, but I think this might be solved by the use of current(). Can you take a look at the article in this URL and let us know if it helps to solve the issue?

sorry for the late reply. its seems current doesnt help much because once it postback the value changed

/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:vw_view_StationeryCatalogue/@Description[../@CategoryId = current()/my:ddlCategory]

basically i have to play with the browser mode and certain criteria cannot be postbacked.
