Can you attach a screenshot of 'Save using custom code' checkbox? - it is under Form Options > Open and Save.

Re: New to infopath need help with email submit button

So, just to clarify things, i published this on a network share, and when i send the form to my boss to approve (test), he rejects it, so it comes back to me. He has the original form, but when he tries to save the one he just rejected with his notes on, he gets the error i had posted.

When i get the email back that it has been rejected, i correct whatever it is that was wrong, send him back the email to approve it again, when i try to save as well, same thing happens.

Your form does have some code in it.... see if you can debug and figure out why it's not allowing you to save.

So how would i disable that? I didn't even touch any codes for that to be enabled...

That file path does not have any infopath folders on it. So i dont even know why that's there. I'm the one creating the form, and i dont even have visual basic installed on my system.

Under Programming, click 'Change Language' button, and then click OK, and then Save your form...

Thanks Hilary, it's working now. This is my very Last question!

I had it set up this way the first test i ran a month ago, but since i must have clicked something to make it stop doing it.

It's not creating a infopath folder for me on outlook, i wanted the forms to automatically go to the infopath outlook folder...How do i set it up to do this?

Thanks again for all the help everyone!

Re: New to infopath need help with email submit button

    Hello,

I added the folder and created a rule, however still one more problem. It doesn't show the name or the hours on outlook. I have a webex site if you want to have a look...

Anyone know how to have this automatically appear? so it can show all the information on outlook? It did it the first time, but now, it just goes to my inbox. Even after setting a rule to have it all sent to the form folder i created, it doesnt show any information at all. Before it used to show manager name, and hours.

Hi Hilary, I am also trying to achieve the same issue, I am able to send the email according the dropdown in the infopath preview mode but its not sending the emails when I am trying in the sharepoint library after publishing. Please explain how can I achieve this. Thanks!

Hey - I'm not sure what you are saying here- I think you are saying your email submit connections works as you anticipate in preview but not after being published? Are you still opening the form in Filler (Client) - or in the Browser?
