Hello,
I have a form template that I'm trying to upgrade via central admin. It was previously published as an Administrator-approved form template. I've deactivating the form. I've published my latest version the same way (i.e. same options selected via the Publishing wizard), and when I go to upload it in Central Admin I leave the defaults checked (overwrite if exists, allow existing browser-based forms... etc.), but when I click upload I get this error message: A form template with this file name already exists on the server. Rename the form template and try again.
I've done this a hundred times across many different forms without ever experiencing this issue, and the message is confusing since it gives me the option to overwrite an existing form template, so I'm not sure where to go from here. I double-checked that the version number on the newer form template is greater than the one that's already published, and I even manually updated it so that it is now 2.0.0.0 vs. the 1.0.0.16 that is already published. I'm assuming that if I remove the existing form template and then upload the new version, the existing forms that have been submitted will no longer be accessible, correct? Has anyone experienced this and know how I can get past it?
Thanks for any help!
Matt
