    Invalid Form Template

I am creating a form to use within a Sharepoint 2007 site but get an error when I try to create the browser enabled form.

The error is 'Invalid Form Template' - then when you click on the error in design checker, the details say 'The form cannot be converted because it was designed for a later version of Infopath Form Services.'

My Infopath knowledge is limited.  I am using Infopath 2010, but Sharepoint is still 2007.

How do I fix this error?  Is there a way to set the form to be backward compatible?  Can a new version of Form Services be installed whilst still running Sharepoint 2007?

    thanks

When you go to File > Save As, try selecting other formats. In InfoPath 2007, I can save as either 2007 or 2003 format. I imagine that for 2010 you could save the form as 2010, 2007 or 2003 formats. See if one of those different formats will work with your IPFS. Good luck!
