How to submit infopath form to sharepoint list.(Infopath form use Webservices)

    Hello,

I have created a infopath form name Employee information. It used a WebServices for data save into SQL server 2005. I have published this form to Sharepoint Library name "Source Infopath Form Library". When i fill this form from sharepoint data saved into sql server. But my problem is i want to display those data  on sharepoint list or library. Please give me any suggestion for the same. Thank you.

I believe that you can accomplish this in two ways:

    1. In the form, have a second submit operation which submits to Sharepoint after submitting succesfully to the web service.

    2. Create a ShP data view, using Sharepoint Designer, which queries data from the SQL table. Though this document deals specifically with data submitted via DBXL (a generic web service), you can extrapolate the steps to help you.

    Good luck!

    Hi,

Using InfoPath you can set up a button to submit to Sharepoint. There are plenty of Microsoft articles for this, such as:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/infopath-help/submit-form-data-to-a-sharepoint-library-HA010107057.aspx

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826993

     http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc162745%28office.12%29.aspx

If you need to update a Sharepoint list in a more flexible way, please have a look at the video on this page:

Hi , I need some guidance to design my application for collecting SKills data from the employees of different service lines in my organization.

I have some requirements in place, need some guidance to design it..

1.Create a Central repository for this data irrespective of service line all the data will be stored in one place only.

     2. For this whether to go for SharePoint Form library or SharePoint list

    3. The form should be designed in such way that different Skills are grouped under diff categories, how to use branching concept here?

    4. How to submit data to List as well as form library?
