Hi,

How can we disbale contact picker control. I tried looking at the properties of people picker control. But I havent found any the check boxes to make the contact\people picker control  Readonly/ Disable. But if I go to the properties of other controls I can see options where I can check the checkboxes like Readonly / Dsiable thi control whereif I check them they are disabled.

I googled alost but unable to find a solution to make the contact picker control readonly/ disable. Can anyone pleaselet me know how to acheive this?

You can do this via conditional formatting. Right click on the control, and select 'Conditional Formatting...', and click 'Add...'  - there you will see 'disable' or 'hide this control' options.

In the browser enabled infopath 2007 form, if I right click on the Contact picker control the only context menu options I can see are cut,copy,paste & Border & shading there is no "conditional formatting" nor "contact picker propertis" option seen in the context menu.

But where as for other controls like check box, radio buttons & text boxes, when I right click I can see the "Conditional formatting"  option on the context menu. So I am uanable to disable it.

I believe I know what the issue is.

Go to Design Tasks > Controls, and click on Add or Remove custom controls..., and click Add button and add 'Contact Selector' custom control as an active-x control.
