InfoPath Dev

I have published a browser based Infopath form to a form library and enabled versioning on the library.  The form functions as expected however when I look at the version history (.../_layouts/Versions.aspx) and click the links to previous versions they only open in the InfoPath client.  Is this by design or am I missing something?

I hear issues about this sort of thing from time to time from clients.

I am guessing that the link to open the form form your version history is similiar to opening the form from a SharePoint workflow task thus it is opening in the client.  Perhaps some of the information there and the linked article will help
