InfoPath Dev

I have a site on a Sharepoint 2007 site that has Forms Services enabled.  I have created a list with a Multi Text column.

However on the Infopath form ,I cannot create a data connection that will "see" the rich text field, because the SharePoint List Adapter cannot import rich text fields into an richtextbox InfoPath form. 

Is there some way I can create and run a program on the sharepoint server to allow the data connection  to the form. Any custom code out there ?

 you can use object model code to connect to the list with multi text column and fetch data using it, and then place the data into the rich text control.

 Could you please  explain further or point me to an example.
