    Question referring to combo box and radio button to change equation

     Hi;

    I am porting a PDF form i have into Infopath and i have stumbles upon a problem.  My original form had a spreadsheet like page which had lines for each of around 20 items.  Each line had a field the user would input the quantity of that item and 2 other fields which would calculate sale price and dealer price.  This was done with a simple java-script equation for the sale price, but there was also a combo box to select pricing from 2 different zones which changed the dealer price.  This was the same as the other java-script code except it included an extra if...then snippet.

    I have set up my form in Infopath to use a repeating table with a combo box to select the item type and fields for the quantity and 2 prices.  I also have a radio button for the 2 zones.  My problem now is that i cannot figure out how to incorporate them easily like i did in Acrobat.  I cannot figure out how to add any sort of code and the only workaround i figured out is by adding rules to the quantity field.  however that requires 2 sets of 2 rules for each entry in the combo box.'

    I read something about using an xml data source, but i am new to this and the book i was able to find on Infopath is insanely huge and cumbersome to use.   Any suggestions/help?  If needed, i can upload (or email) a copy of the form for review.
