    When you clicked Save As qRules Mapping, and looked at the saved mapping.xml, you had the same XML as before? You shouldn't....

     Sorry for the disconnect, but I am confused. I clicked "Save as qRules Mapping" and then clicked save. I am saving the mapping.xml file to my desktop and choosing to overwrite each time. Here's the xml from the new mapping.xml file:

    <my:myFields xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:my="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2007-11-27T15:29:00" xmlns:xd="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003" xml:lang="en-us">
      <my:Mappings>
        <my:IsRepeating>false</my:IsRepeating>
        <my:RepeatingGroup>
        </my:RepeatingGroup>
        <my:Mapping>
          <my:FormField>my:LocalInventory/my:carrier</my:FormField>
          <my:SharePointColumn>Title</my:SharePointColumn>
        </my:Mapping>
      </my:Mappings>
      <my:SharePointListURL>http://ivyseed/audit</my:SharePointListURL>
      <my:ListCollection>{650CB919-0C01-4061-A0F1-E80493772549}</my:ListCollection>
      <my:FullListURL>http://ivyseed/audit/Lists/Lists</my:FullListURL>
      <Batch OnError="Continue">
        <Method ID="New" Cmd="New">
          <Field Name="Title">
          </Field>
        </Method>
      </Batch>
    </my:myFields>

     Additionally, i have re-attached the newest form.

    Okay, so I can see that you updated the mapping in your template to this new mapping that maps the carried field to the Title column. Are you still getting the (no title) result in ShP? Can you temporarily add the "Error" node from the QdabraRules secondary data source onto your form so that when you run the command we can see if any error is returned?

     Yes, still "(No Title)" in SP. I have the command, error and result fields added to the form. See picture below (the error field resulted blank).

    One more screen shot, please... could you walk through the data connection wizard again for your ShPListSubmit data connection, and take a screen shot of the dialog where you set the tns:updates param to the Batch node in the mapping file?

     See below. I have went through the online instructions countless times and feel like i am missing something obvious.

    Everything looks right! Dumb question time -- in your most recent test, you did select a value in your "carrier" field, right? Since that is the one you had mapped to Title?

     Yes, I did have a value in the carrier field. Did the mapping file look correct in the most recent iteration?

    Yes, your mapping file has looked correct throughout. I'm going to contact you through email and see if we can Live Meeting to see what is happening.

    Re: Qrules submit to Sharepoint

    Okay, after a Live Meeting, we solved this one.

    First, qRules wasn't properly injected. I should have realized that from the screen shot that showed the Command still present after the form said it had submitted successfully. When qRules runs, it clears the command node. If I suspect that qRules needs to be re-injected, I usually try a simple command like GenerateGuid and see if it runs correctly.

    We had to remove the code from the form, and re-inject qRules.

    Then, the (no title) item was a bit of a red herring. Since qRules SubmitToSharePointList command actually handles the submitting of the data, there is no need to add a rule action to submit to your submit data connection to the Update List Items method.

    Hopefully this additional info can help someone else who might get stuck!

    Thanks again for your help Hilary. Your knowledge of the Qdabra product and Infopath was amazing!
