    Qrules submit to Sharepoint

Recently purchased QRules and I am having problems with the submit to sharepoint feature. When the form is submitted to the sharepoint list, a new item is created, but none of the fields are properly filled out. I assume I have a mapping issue. Can someone please take a look at my mapping file and see what I have messed up.

Hi -- when you say "none of the fields is properly filled out" but a new item is created, what do you mean? Do you mean there are unexpected values in particular fields? No values?

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Yes, when the form is submitted, a new list item is created in the sharepoint list, but no values are populated.

So, there is a new item, with (no title) or some such? You are displaying the columns you've mapped in the view of the list you are looking at?

Can you reply and attach a screenshot of your ShP list (under the Options tab, you can attach a file)?

Can you post your form too?  Also, check your /id parameter - it should use full path since it's not a repeating data.

You nailed it, the list item is named "(no title)". I have attached the screenshot.

Sure. I have attached the form template. I am a little confused by the /id parameter. I do not have an id field identified at this point, b/c i thought this field was only used to keep track of updating and deleting SP list items. Is it always necessary? Take a look at the form and let me know what you think.

I'm not surprised to see no title, since I can see in your mapping that you've not mapped any form fields to that column. I'm wondering if perhaps the correct column names weren't mapped to for some reason (mapping was created and then some columns were changed or renamed in the list, for example). Could you try creating another mapping file, and attach it here, so we can compare them?

An id field is only required for updating list items. You do not have to have it. Please go ahead and try creating a new mapping file, so I can take a look at it. Thanks!

I wouldn't say that column names have not been changed since the SP list was created, but nothing has been changed since I was trying to get my proof of concept to work.

Thanks for all of your help!

This mapping looks the same. How about trying to map a column to the title column, see what happens then? You'll need to just replace your current mapping.xml with your new mapping.xml...

Sorry, but i don't understand how to map to a particular column? What would i need to change to map to the title column for testing?

Aren't you using the InfoPath to SharePoint List Tool to create your mapping file? Just add the title column, and map it to the field, like you have Carrier and Account....

Same result. I have copied a screenshot of the Sharepoint List Tool I am creating the mapping from. There's not much to mess up, but does it look like i am using this properly?
