    Images in headers/footers

    Hi,

I know Infopath 2007 does not support images in the headers and footers. I am looking for a way around this. I read a post about using a picture in the background, but that does not repeat like I want it to.

What I want is this: When people print my form, I want there to be a specific header and footer on every printed page. My desired footer includes an image.

How do I go about achieving this?

    Thanks

I don't know of a way to achieve this because we're talking header/footer specifically for printing. We use header/footers in the form design itself.

    Thanks ErnestoM,

I followed all the steps and did exactly what the instruction say. But the header only print out in the first page and the footer only print out in the last page.

The forms I build have repeating table and will print out in multi- pages.

Do you or any one get experience on this?

    Thank you!

    Re: Images in headers/footers

Would you be prepared to hack into the form template xsn file *every* time you need to republish it?

The only way to have what you are requesting is a bit of a hack and Infopath automatically removes it *every* time the form template is published again.

I can try explaining it in detail but it may be confusing. I am hoping to wrap it in a tool of some sort one day, but I keep getting distracted with other projects.

    thank you Skarn

Yeah, I know how to access and modify the source files.

you mean we can modify the xsl or xsf file to make this work?

    Thank you!

I find a way is put the images in a letter size white sheet and make the whole picture as background...

I'd like to try the way you mentioned.
