Get the logged in username from the code with
    System.Environment.UserName(c#).
Create a secondary dataconnection xml with a node for logged in user and put that Info in that secondarydataconnection xml Node.

Note: I think it can be done in Jscript also.

How do you do the first part? Do you need to edit the code-behind on a form?

There are a lot of people asking this question on the forums, and the responses always tend to be 'use system.environment.username'. It would be nice if someone could do a step - by - step tutorial showing how.

Re: To retreive Windows user Id

I've read lots of threads about this but i still can't do this using jscript.
Everybody says "Use System.Environment.UserName" but that only works in C#, not in jscript.

Patrick Halstead said that "There are plenty of examples out there. Just search." So, i've searched and searched and still got nothing! :(

Help please on jscrip code to get the current user/login.
