I was the web servers to load balance to distribute workload effectively and have already successfully installed the trial version of DBXL onto one of them. Before attempting an installation on the other, are there any special instructions for running DBXL in a Windows cluster? Is it possible and are there any issues I need to be aware of? Reply Contact Sorry Jim, just realised that I haven't responded to this. When installing the application onto both servers, do I use the name of the cluster rather than the individual web servers to avoid overwriting any existing mappings? Reply Contact You should use the exact same installation settings on both WFE installations. The hostname used should match what users access the site with. To work correctly, the hostname used should resolve to the local IP address on each WFE. (either 127.0.0.1, or the IP of the WFE it is running).
