Code for making the form not editable

    Dear Experts,

Kindly, I created a simple form but I need to make the form not editable if a field (date format) is filled (not blank).

can someone provide me with the needed code since I don't have any programming skills.

     Thank you all in advance.

    Regards,

you can have a rule on open and save.

    if field is not blank

    change view readonly view.

    to set the rule goto

tools -> form options -> open and save -> rules.

    Dear Qazi,

     Hope you're doing well.

Regarding the mentioned issue, I was able to create a new view but the thing is when switching to the second view the data is missing (empty text boxes) although they have the same name in both views.

Do you have any idea the cause of this problem.

Note: this problem is happening when uploading the form on the SharePoint, Localy it's working fine.

Thank you so much for your help.

can you attach your form template, and a copy of your form in which the data seems to be missing.

Re: Code for making the form not editable

    Dear Qazi,

I found the problem, I was using the rich text boxes instead of the text boxes, and since I'm using this form as a content type in the SharePoint, the rich text box has a problem with the web compatability.

    Thank you for continues help.

    Have a nice day
