    Check if SharePoint title already exists from infopath

    Hello,

     I am submitting my infopath to List1. I also have another list called List2. I would like to know if it was possible to check from infopath whether the title I am submitting to List1 exists in List2 or not. If it does already exist in List2, it would just submit the form to List 1 appending something like "-01" to its title. 

     Thanks in advance for your ideas!

    yes it is possible, all you need is a data connection to the other list, and before submit using rules and filters check whether the title is present or not
