Passing data from form A to form B (not browser)

I have read a lot of posts about this but I have not be able to find a “first do this, then do that” solution. I hope one of you guys can guide me. I use InfoPath 2007. I have two separate form libraries with different form templates. The master form is called “OOS” and the sub-form is called “Activities”. The sub-form Activities is always created from within the OOS form (a button with action “Open a new form to fill out”). In the OOS form I have a unique key field. I want to pass this unique field to my sub-form Activities when I click on the button, so I can use the field to link the master form and the sub-form together. Can you help me with a solution or maybe a clue to a solution? Thank you

Hi Morten, other than writing your own custom code, the only other suggestion I have is trying out qRules (http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules.aspx), and, specifically, this document (http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/entry49403.aspx). Good luck!
