InfoPath Dev

I need to be able to monitor status of reports due. There are several reports (about 200) that need to be completed on regular basis and their status monitored. Frequency of reports due dates varies. (monthly, quarterly, annually etc..)

Report due dates are setup and updated in advance in SharePoint.

Biggest requirement is to send automatic reminders when report due date is approaching.

 I stared to look into InfoPath 2007 solution but have hit the wall.

Does anyone has any idea how to complete this task?

Hello nsdolic,

in my opinion the easiest way to accomplish this task is to design a workflow with "SharePoint Designer". The workflow can be bind to the appropriate library in SharePoint. You can configure the workflow for starting every time when an item in the library will be submit.

I use this in various libraries even in form libraries with infopth forms and it works really well.
