    ideas to streamline publishing

Hello - I would like to see if it is possible to publish a form only once to a top-level SharePoint site, and then somehow "enable" that form in each of that site's sub-sites, and have the form in each subsite submit to a form library within each sub-site please?

I think I will have to change & save the submit location info within the form each time I publish it, publishing it individually to each of our sub-sites; but since we will have about 400 sub-sites and each of those sub-sites needs to have a form on it that will submit to its own form library, I wanted to see if you might have any ideas of how we can simplify this process?

We are looking at using the Qdabra DBXL, but I posted this message in this forum since we are using browser-enabled forms with (MOSS) 2007. I apologize if I have selected the incorrect forum for this request and really appreciate any help that you can provide.

    Thanks very much, Boerkie

    Hi Boerkie,

If you can publish your form as an administrated approved form and deply it using form services in the central administration and activate it to a site collection, it is available in the site collection as a content type. As the content type is a reusable component, you can add this content type to any form library in the subsite under the site collection.
