Hi, I'm wondering if anyone could help.. I looked around and could not find a similar post. I'm trying to do a validation for duplicates in my repeating table, but it's based on two values per row. It doesn't seem like it should be overly difficult.. I just can't seem to figure it out at this point.
I'm using InfoPath 2003. My repeating table has one text field which is a drop-down (Mytext) and a date field (Mydate), and some other text fields which are not an issue. I think I have to concatenate the value from a drop-down and the date that's on the table. Where I'm getting confused is whether this is XPath expression (in the drop-down?) or if I need script (I'm using VBScript)? Is it For each.. Next? I'm not really familiar with the syntax & navigating the nodes yet, although I have managed to write some script successfully.. but this one (the last thing to complete my form) has me stumped.

Here's an example of acceptable entries (ABC and GHI are each on table twice, but dates are different so it's ok):
Mytext Mydate
ABC 2010-01-01
GHI 2010-02-01
DEF 2010-01-01
GHI 2010-01-01
ABC 2010-02-01
**************************************************************************************
Here's an example of unacceptable (ABC is on table twice with same date):
ABC 2010-01-01
DEF 2010-01-01
ABC 2010-01-01
GHI 2010-02-01
GHI 2010-01-01

Thanks,
Laura
