Is there an easy way to hilite a section of a diagram in a form, say, click on a front fender of a diagram of a car and it will hilite? And maybe associate that click event with a number and save the number instead of the image when saving the form?

You will need to provide more information.

1. Describe what you mean by diagram.
2. What is the purpose of the form?
3. Do you have any thing in regards to this question working at this point? What is an isn't working?
4. What do you expect or want to have happen? and what is currently happening?

Hi Greg! In answer to your questions, the diagram is a simple line drawing of the top of a generic car, very small, about 3/4" X 1 1/4". The drawing itself would be divided into 9 small sections that would highlite when the user clicks on that part of the diagram (say, the back passenger side). Each section would be assigned a number, that is stored (instead of the image) when the user saves the form. The form itself is a concept for a car accident police form for a laptop/tabletPC. And right now, it's just a concept.

A possiblity that came up during discussion was using a small Flash document in the cell that would hold the diagram.

Something that might help you is to make each of he 9 sections into picture buttons. Then you can have code behind each of the 9 buttons to do whatever you want when they are clicked on.

So far as I know this is the only way you can do this.
