Show exception message on form submission

     Hi All,

I have developed one infopath form having data connection with WebService. When I submit data it shows me message that form was submitted. This is the default message of InfoPath.

Now when the web service throw any exception I want to show exception message in the message box instead of that default message. I have thrown the exception, in this case the message box shows extra button "Show Details>>" in this details box, it shows me the message thrown by web service.

Is there any way to directly show the message in message box. In this case we can not use Submit Option > Advanced > Use Custom Messages. as we can not show exact exception message every time.

Looking forward to your kind reply.

    Thanks in Adv.

    Hi nthaka1,

You could return the exception information from the Web service in an error parameter and if that parameter is not blank, you could assume it's an error and display it in the form or in a message box.

Hope that is semi-helpful. Sorry I can't solve world hunger,
