    Browser-based form using views

I develop my browser-based forms using IP 2007 for a MOSS 2007 environment. I submit the form to a SharePoint library where the form is stored as an attached XML document with each of the completed fields showing in the fields of the list. Have been doing this kind of form without issue. Here is the problem. I decided to get adventuresome. I have a group who had wanted a form that would allow users to submit document review requests. Each type of request has fields in common (Requestor FName, Lname, etc.) and then some specific to the request being made. So I created my data sources first and then created several views which each represent a specific request. On each request view I added the data sources items common/specific to that request. Where I am running into a problem is getting it to submit. It errors out and says there was a problem with the submit. Nothing more helpful than that. When you create a browser based form with views, is there somethign special to be aware of?

well when you create multi view forms, you need to keep one thing in mind that data validations hold through out the form, so if you have some datavalidations on some field in view1 and in view2 you dont show that field, and that field contains invalid data the form wont get submitted. Same seems to be the case with you.

I do not have validation enabled on any field. However I do think the issue lies with not showing all the fields. I have decided to break the form up into separate forms for simplicity. Thank you for your reply Qazi!

no the issue is not with showing all the fields, it is most probably a validation error.

And you dont have to explicity define Data validation. some validations are implicit. like

calendar control can only contain date.

if you specify a field to be of type whole number(integer) then it can only contain integer value...
