DBXL error when clicking Reshred All in DAT

I am receiving an error when clicking Reshred All in the DBXL DAT.

An Error ocurred while calling the ReshredAllDocuments method.  The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: ReshredAllDocuments

InfoPath cannot run the specified query.

The SOAP message cannot be parsed.

I am able to individually select documents and even groups of documents and successfully click the Reshred button.  Just not the Reshred All button.

    Hello,

Any additional information in the error message? Is anything logged in eventvwr?

I've seen timeout issues with Reshred All; if this is what's happening, you can use this tool to Reshred All.

    Hope this helps.

There are a few individual document shredding errors and then:

ReshredAllDocuments encountered a critical error and needs attention:

    System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted.
       at Qdabra.Dbxl.WebService.Implementation.ServiceImplementation.ReshredAllDocuments(String docTypeName)

The stack trace was:    at Qdabra.Dbxl.WebService.Implementation.ServiceImplementation.ReshredAllDocuments(String docTypeName).

Can you also include the individual shredding errors?

    Thanks.

The ThreadAbortException indicates a timeout occurred.  You will need to edit the web.config in the QdabraWebService folder to add an entry in the <system.web> section:

    <httpRuntime executionTimeout="3600"/>

the 3600 is in seconds, so this would be 60 minutes.  You can set as needed to prevent the timeout.

Changing the timeout setting took care of the issue.  Thanks.
