Submitting to Sharepoint

After i have sumbitted a form to sharepoint the submit button seems to stop working.

I am opening up the submitted form to amend it, then resubmit, but the submit button does not seem to activate anything.

this is frustrating me no end....last step in my process.

File Attached. It is a pretty confusing setup, so hope it makes sense. I haven't stripped it down. Too much to remove.

As per the template, whenever you click submit, the form gets CR_Ref_No from a dataconnection (your webservice), and then submits the form back to your document library,

What behaviour does submit exhibit when you try to resubmit a form, and also will your webservice always return a different CR_REf_No

Thanks for the investigation.That's right the form does get a CR_Ref_No...(which is a unique number assigned to the document. This webservice will only run when a particular cell is blank, thus if it is not blank the form has already been assigned a CR_Ref_No. Yes then the form submits to the sharepoint library and closes. This works great when the form is first created and submitted to the library for the first time. But when resubmitting nothing seems to happen. The behaviour the submit button exhibits when i resubmit the form (after opening it from the sharepoint library) is the following. I click the submit button and in the bottom left hand corner it flashes "Submitting form..." but then nothing happens. I can just keep clicking the button and the same thing happens. It never closes the form. So i assume from that, it is possibly never running through all the rules or the submit process. It is getting caught/stopped on something. Re the webservice returning a different CR_Ref_No - yes this webservice will return a different number everytime (but it will only run the service if the form does already have a CR_Ref_No). I have even tried removing all webservice and rules on the submit button and only having a "submit to sharepoint" event on the submit button. But this did nothing, still got the same behaviour as described above. Thanks Again. Much appreciated.
