    Immediate Post for Validation

    Hello all,

Is there any way (I am particularly interested in browser forms) of having any change in a field post immediately for validation rather than having to leave the field first.

For examples sake, I have a button that is disabled if MyField is blank - as soon I type or paste into MyField, the button should enable. As it is, I first have to click out of the field before the change is posted and the validation updates. So although MyField now contains text, the button is still disabled, and I have to click the disabled button once (or anywhere else outside of MyField) before the button becomes active so I can click it again properly.

    Thanks in advance.

right click on your control -> properties -> browser forms and set the postback settings to always.

NOTE: this is available only for browser enabled forms. Also set the postback settings to always only for those fields that you really require to have postbacks
