Collapse/Expand Button to control section in Infopath 2007

I have a question regarding creating a button to expand/collapse a section in InfoPath 2007 instead of using options buttons as is displayed below.  What I want is one button that shows a ‘+’ sign and when clicked it will expand the section and show a ‘–‘ sign.  Then, when clicked again, it will collapse the section and show the ‘+’ sign again.  I can’t find any forums that discuss this solution.

Is there further information that is needed in order to help me?

Have a look at the attached template.  All of its logic lies in conditional formatting, rules, and a secondary data source.

Hi and welcome to the InfoPath Dev forums,

What you want to do is actually pretty easy - you should be able to do this yourself.

We actually have a free template part that you can use, here is a blog about it and a link to download the XTP:

I have also attached a very simple sample form so you can see how you can do this on your own - pay attention to the rules being used to set the "ShowHide" field value (that keeps track if a seciton should be shown or hidden and if the + or - button need to be hidden as well).  Using conditional formatting you can easily show or hide a section based upon what value the users selects by pressing + or -

    Hope this helps

Do either of you have much experience with Infopath and Sharepoint?  Could I catch you offline for a question regarding submitting to a Sharepoint list, or should I post a new forum?

    Hi,

We have a lot of experience with both (we both work for Qdabra Software).

If you start a new post in this forum though (SharePoint fourm) we or others can try to answer:
