    Infopath form to copy data between 2 SharePoint Sites/Lists

    Hi,

    I have access to 2 SharePoint servers. ServerA and ServerB. ServerA has ListA and Server has ListB. I would like to copy all the content of ListA to ListB by using Infopath form. On my infopath form, I created a data connection(from ServerA) to retrieve data from XML and used the link below;

     http://www.ServerA.com/subweb/_vti_bin/owssvr.dll?Cmd=Display&List={XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX}&View={XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX}&XMLDATA=TRUE

    I can create a repeating table and view all the content of ListA in my infopath form. I know how to copy the content of infopath to SharePoint List(ListB) but I do not know how I can write all the rows. I am able to write the 1st row of ListA to ListB but hwo can I create a loop and submit all the values?

    Or any other suggestion to achieve this. Is it easy to copy the content of ListA to SQL Database and InfoPath to read this info and copy it to ListB?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    You might want to look at our qRules tool: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules.aspx

    There is a feature in qRules that allows you to submit to different SharePoint lists and it will allow you to write rows from a repeating section in InfoPath to rows in SharePoint.

    The feature is called "Submit to SharePoint list" and it works in the rich client and the browser form version of InfoPath.  Our users of this feature in qRules have been very impressed with the function.  There is a trial version of the tool so you can download and try it out in your form.

    Ted
