Hi Cathy,
In the Designer on the File menu, there is an option to Save as Source Files. Please specify an empty folder and save. InfoPath will save all forms. Then you can navigate to that folder in Windows Explorer and open up the appropriate View.xsl file in notepad. Another approach is to just rename the xsn as cab and double click it to get the files (you'll need to copy the files out to make the change though). The xsn is actually a cab format.
To make your change, after you open the xsl in notepad, save it and then make sure that you close existing InfoPath Designer. Now, right click on the manifest.xsf and choose Design. Then you can publish the solution with that change.
Please keep in mind that editing the XSL is not a best practice because InfoPath Designer may overwrite your changes. In addition, if you don't do it correctly you could break your solution and make it no longer openable in InfoPath Designer. However, there are certain instances where you ahve to do this editing. For those, please use the Preserve block so that InfoPath Designer does not overwrite the changes.
I hope this helps.Good luck.
