How to add a condition to hide the drop down list box when there is only one value in the list. Please suggest. Thank you.

 This would depend on where the dropdown's values are coming from.  You'll need an expression to determine the number of repeating items in that node set and hide the dropdown box using that expression.  You'll need to use the count() function for this.
