InfoPath Dev

We have an InfoPath form template deployed as a browser based form in MOSS.  The form allows users to attach documents.  Many forms have been submitted and now we need to extract the attachments from existing forms.  Is there a way to extract the document and save it to a SharePoint document library?  If so, can we apply a value from the parent form as a metadata value (ie form number) when it is saved in the document library?

I talked a little internally last night with the team on what our options are here and we do have some options, especially since you already have DBXL installed at this clients location.  We can actually use our Doc Deployer (migration) tool to manage this and run the tool on all forms at the same time.  Call me when you get a chance so I can explain how it would work.
